 Breaking glass (poppies) | I started this painting in art class, subject a study in red. It turned into another one on the theme of breaking. I based the picture on a collage I did years ago and have always liked - the original is collaged from photocopied charcoal rubbings of surfaces and textures and is looking a bit dog-eared now. I may try to make the images more abstract in another painting. |  Original collage |
