I'm at last back to painting after a long lull (or Lull, it felt better to pretend this lack of oomph was a new kind of art movement). I've been experimenting with complementary colours, inspired by the purple buddleia in the garden. Not sure these are quite right. They are imaginatively called Buddleia 1, 2 and 3. The flowers in the pink jug now look a little bit droopy and mop-headed. I will persevere!
